On December 9-12, 2019 the Optromix team took part in a business mission taking place in Beijing, China. The business mission was organized by the BDA Strategic Communications Agency. The main goal of the mission was to introduce local companies to buyers in China. Optromix company was the only one who represented the environmental project. 

Our team has done careful preparatory work to find contacts of environmental companies that might be interested in our products (suppliers of imported equipment for gas treatment to the Chinese market, manufacturers of wet air scrubbers for gas treatment and dust removal systems). At the mission, our company attended a meeting with government representatives, received valuable expert advice during the discussion in Beijing. 

Our air treatment products aroused great interest, and one of the companies decided to buy a sample of our wet scrubber and install it in their company for treating the air from coal dust and subsequently for cleaning from sulfur dioxide in steel production.

Moreover, the Optromix team was invited to become a resident of Hi-tech International Technology Innovation Park that provided office and manufacturing facilities, legal protection of patents, assistance in registering legal entities, and marketing.

In general, the results of the business mission in Beijing can be assessed as positive, it allowed developing business connections and beginning regular sales. Towards the end of the business mission, the company signed five Agreements of Intent with Chinese distributors.
